Increase of users coming back.
94% of eCommerce sites are not accessible.
How might we avoid this for The Rounds' Website? How might we reduce bounce rates? How might we improve conversion and remove buyer doubt?

Task: Find out from users what can be improved.
I conducted user interviews to help unravel problems bringing accessibility and experience improvements to the site.
Here are some quotes we received multiple times from users.
I didn’t know I can click on the product.

Why is this a problem?

Users won’t dive into the product details if they don’t think to click on the product. This decreases time on site, user satisfaction, conversion and ultimately ranking.

What can be changed?

A simple but noticeable hover effect can be added to each product card. We can use the colour set for each category to help bring the brand colours back.
No change when hovering, nothing to indicate you can click.
Card Hover Effect
I want to compare price across sites without clicking.

Why is this a problem?

Users get frustrated by clicking in and out of the PDP page to compare prices across competitors.

What can be changed?

Bring the most important details into the All products page. This was determined to be price and quantity.
User flow when comparing prices.
Price, quantity and product name easy to read.
It’s hard to find the exact product I’m looking for.

Why is this a problem?

This page's goal is to give a preview of what the service is like but people want to see if they offer a specific product. This is hard to do in sea of 100+ products.

What can be changed?

In addition to adding tags, a search bar can be added that matches to any part of the text.
Yes - you could use "find in page" but most people don't know.
All Product Search Bar
Is this product good, do other people order it, how long will it last?

Why is this a problem?

Most users won’t buy what others haven’t bought yet. It’s important to show that your product can be trusted.

What can be changed?

Show how many users are ordering the product + how often. This gives the user an easier visualization of how the weekly delivery works.
